October is Halloween season! Are you getting your candy bowl ready for the kids? Back in September you were exposed to prostate health awareness, but once October 1st hit, did you really think it was over and done with? Not at all! Remember these tips to keep your prostate healthy this Halloween and avoid becoming a bony, trumpet playing Spooktober skeleton:
- Watch your nutrition! Of course you can enjoy those delicious candies, but reach for those fruits and veggies too! Also, you can get yummy sugar free candy (made with stevia extract) if you need to limit your sugar intake.
- Take warm baths! As it gets chillier outside, your prostate could benefit from blood circulation through a warm bath.
- Take a jog or a walk during the day! When it's warm outside in the afternoon, try taking a walk or job for your physical activity.
